I'm sorry for my unclarity, what I meant was a script that allows POSTINGS on a bulletin board. Last time I tried posting on my shard, it crashed. However, I tried again and it did not do so. But... a script that does postings, if it is possible would be nice, it would always be good to have that knowledge.

And Nazghul, that was a completely unneccesary comment.

As unnecessary as this: "Knowledge" comes from learning. Not from copying other ppl. work

And, to state this clear: As unnecessary as your post asking for something what is part of the standard Sphere, as unnecessary as Wiccanians post giving a script from the default script pack. So it's in good fellowship here.

If you want to ask if something works now or not you should use the appropriate forum.

Oh and Demigod, a word of advice, when posting a request try to be as precize as possible in what you requesting. That way others understand it better and you can prevent them from doing useless work for you. That way you won't get anything you can't work with either and you won't have to let someone down by rejecting the script made especially for you.

Whoa, think about this for a moment. How did Bill Gates learn programming? Yeah, he went to harvard for a while. But he dropped out and learned the rest of his programming by fishing through Harvards garbage and copying the code from the discarded program listings. Its called reverse engineering, taking things apart and learning how they work. Also, other people have different learning styles. I learn best from viewing examples. You can compare the code and experiment to get different results.



I simply wanted a script that allows posting. I wasn't sure if it would be possible. If i knew that it was possible, that would mean that I would no how to create it and therefore, I would have created it. The reason why this forum exists, is because of those who are too lazy to write their own scripts OR for those who do not know how to write a type of script. So therefore, would this not be the appropriate forum?

Demigod: the bulletin board in 55i should work (including posts) perfectly. If you are having problems you might want to try a different client. If that doesn't work for you, I'm afraid you're out of luck, 55i is (development wise) no longer supported.

Everyone else: a bit more maturity would be nice.. if you have a problem with a thread, use the report button, don't fill it with crap.
