Hi all, i have a problem with my noreg casting...

that's what i have in sphere.ini

CODE
// Allow casting while equipped
EquippedCast=1

// Words of power for player using magic
WOPPlayer=1

// Words of power for staff using magic
WOPStaff=0

// Words of power font
WOPFont=3

// Words of power color
WOPColor=03B2

// Reagents lost if magic fails
ReagentLossFail=0

// Magic requires reagents
ReagentsRequired=0


the problem is... i need regs for casting as well it unequip me when casting... where's the problem?

i'm using Cloud's server files...

maybe you have 2 entries of the same value in sphere.ini, one overriding the other?

I have looked for it, and there's no two entries... i am really helpless... tried to look in the scripts, but i have no clue what to look for or where to change something like this...

In order to use a Spell Channeling or Lower Reagent Cost property you have to write your own checks. I think Cloud_BR has a scripted check system instead so look in those files.

That didn't helped at all... that way i have to give all players some item with lower casting by 100%... a that don't help with unequiping weapons and shields...

No no, I was explaining WHY it was set up that way and suggesting you look in Cloud_BR's files related to those features if you want to fix it.

ahh... i didn't understood you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) well eitherway i looked around these files, but even with that cool file system, i had hard time to find anything about casting... and in the end... i was looking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) like this and second ago like this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ... well i don't understand a thing in these files (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) better throw it off my window(s)...

@merlin, look for the sphere.ini settings in all your scripts, all sphere.ini settings can be changed in-game on the go using the SERV.xx object. For example, SERV.AGREE=0 can be used in a script to disagree with the sphere, check your scripts for any possibilities that these settings could've been changed during gameplay by scripts.

well i did it like this... equiping was scripted... and now i have command for no reagents... well... SOLVED (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
